This class is for all parents, whether completely new to Hand in Hand Parenting or have been using these tools for years.

Hand in Hand offers a way to empower yourself as a parent with tools you can rely on to become the secure base your child needs. The ideas presented in this workshop will help you overcome challenging behaviors, heal old hurts from your childhood that cause anger, worry and confusion to flare, and build a family rich with laughter and connection. 

Some of the things I’ll cover in this half day, interactive workshop:

• Introduction to each Hand in Hand listening tool, and how to implement them your family
• Play and laughter that nurtures connection in your family
• How emotions can drive your child’s behavior off course
• Respond to difficult behaviors like defiance, anxiety, whining, isolation, and aggression with confidence and clarity
• Why we “lose it” with our children and how we can “get it back”
• The neuroscience of how listening actually builds intelligence
• Learn a tool that will help you heal your own past hurts, uncover triggers and break generational trauma cycles and restore your energy for parenting
• Setting limits; how and why

There will be time for Q&A, time for you to think/ feel your way through some of the challenges in your family, and time to play! 

Hand in Hand Parenting has been by far the best approach to understand and connect with my kids.  We listen better to each other and to our emotions.  We have become less judgemental and critical and more compassionate towards our children and ourselves in our conquest to become better parents every day.  By recognizing our kids desire to love and be loved, to be in balance and in peace though their behavior may say the contrary, we have come to a much deeper awareness and appreciation of who they are as human, emotional beings.
